Scriptures & Devotions
Dwell in His Word.
A sacred space to sit with Scripture, receive devotional reflections, and let God's truth meet you right where you are.
Featured Scripture
"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."
Psalm 91:1
To dwell is not merely to visit — it is to remain, to settle, to make a home in His presence. This is the invitation extended to every woman who comes to SHE DWELLS: not a hurried moment with God, but a lingering, a resting, a returning again and again to the shelter of His love.
"One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life."
Psalm 27:4
Devotional Reflections
Words for the weary and the wondering.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28
Rest for the Weary
There is no burden too heavy for His hands. In the moments when life feels too much to carry, this is your invitation — not to try harder, but to come. To lay it down. To receive the rest only He can give.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."
Proverbs 31:25
Clothed in Strength
Your strength is not manufactured — it is given. When you walk in the identity God has placed on you, fear loses its grip. You are not defined by what you face, but by whose you are.
"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you."
Zephaniah 3:17
Delighted In
You are not merely tolerated — you are delighted in. The God of all creation sings over you. Let that truth settle into the places where you have felt unseen, unwanted, or forgotten.
Spiritual Practice
Ways to dwell in His Word.
Lectio Divina
Read a passage slowly, four times. Listen. Reflect. Respond. Rest. Let the Word speak beyond the surface.
Scripture journaling
Write the verse by hand. Then write what you hear God saying to you through it. Let the page become a conversation.
Breath prayer
Choose a short phrase from Scripture. Inhale the first half, exhale the second. Carry it with you through the day.
Contemplative sitting
Set a timer for ten minutes. Open your hands. Sit in silence with one verse. Let it do its work in you.
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Psalm 119:105
